Prof. Dr. Michael Dowling was named to the Professorship for Innovation and Technology Management at the University of Regensburg effective July 1, 1996.  Previously he had been an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor with tenure at the University of Georgia, USA.

Mike is the Chairman of the Board and a member of the Research Committee of the
MÜNCHNER KREIS, a non-profit supra-national association dedicated to communications research. He was elected a member of Acatech – the German National Academy of Science and Engineering in 2015 and installed jn 2016. 

He has a published over 50 academic articles in  Die BetriebswirtschaftStrategic Management Journal, Management Science, California Management Review, Research Policy, Business Horizons, Columbia Journal of World Business, and Telecommunications Policy.  In 2009, he was ranked 62 in the German business newspaper Handelsblatt ranking of the Top 200 (from a total of 2000) Professors of Business Administration in Germany, Austria and Switzerland based on research productivity.

He is the Founder and Director of the “Honors” Elite Master Degree Programs in Business, Economics and Information Systems in the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Regensburg which is a member of the Elite Network of Bavaria.

Deborah Grayson Riegel, co-author of

Tips of the Tongue: The Nonnative English Speaker’s Guide to Mastering Public Speaking.

Deborah Grayson Riegel is the CEO and Chief Communication Coach for Talk Support, and a Principal and Director of Learning for The Boda Group. She started her career at age 17, when she won a national championship in public speaking as a high school senior in New York City, and was immediately recruited to coach on presentation and communication skills at colleges and corporations. Deborah has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, supporting herself by performing improvisation and stand-up comedy. Deborah is a lecturer of Management Communication at the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. She also served as a Visiting Professor of Executive Communications at the Beijing International MBA Program at Peking University, China. Deborah’s clients have ranged from Kraft Foods, Monster Worldwide and Pfizer to The American Bar Association, Fox and The United States Army. She has been a featured expert and a contributor to Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, Forbes, Fast Company, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Fox Business Network, and American Express OPEN Small Business Forum.
